Larkmead Napa Cabernet 2000
O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet 2000

Cost is $65. Mrs. O and I are definitely going.

The appetizers are usually things like lamb chops, bacon-wrapped sea scallops, jumbo prawns. i.e. hearty fare - easily fancy dinner quality.

FYI. Lovell's is owned by Capt. James Lovell of Apollo 13 fame. He is usually at these events. Very nice guy. His son is the chef.

Cheers,

Otis

I'll talk to my wife about it when she gets back into town.

Sounds good, VM.

Bit of a hike, but should be fun. My best to Lady VM and Foster the Outback Wonder Dog.

Cheers,

Otis

We are thinking about making the hike up to Lake Forest with some friends, should I assume reservations are required? Wink

Hope you can make it! We made reservations a few weeks ago. They did not require a credit card to hold it, so it wouldn't hurt to reserve a spot ahead of time (even if you're not sure if you're going).

Cheers,

Otis
