Thought I would post this for everyone in the South Florida area. The tasting is at Sunset Corners in Miami on the corner of SW 87th Ave and SW 72nd St. and is free. I'm looking forward to meeting Brian and tasting these wines. I know it's late notice but I just received the e-mail today. Here is a part of the e-mail with the wines they will be tasting.

The LORING WINE COMPANY

It is out great pleasure to invite you to an extraordinary tasting this
Saturday, February 25th, between 1:30pm and 4:00pm
As always, the tasting is free!
Joining us will be the owner/winemaker of the Loring Wine Company, Brian
Loring.
Since his first vintage in 1999, Loring Pinot Noirs have received
critical acclaim by both wine critics and lovers all over the country.
The only fault we can find with their wines is that there just aren't
enough produced. Brian makes a host of different vineyard designate
pinots, with quantities ranging between 200 - 750 cases each, making
them almost impossible to get! With the 2004 vintage these wines are
first being made available in Florida. Brian is in town for the SoBe
Wine Festival and has graciously agreed to stop by the store to both
chat with and sample his new releases.

Lovers of Pinot Noir take note: IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!
We will be tasting five different vineyard designates, all from the 2004
vintage. All of the wines retail for $49.99 a bottle, with a 10%
discount on a solid or mixed case of twelve bottles.

We have friends with small children coming from out of town this weekend, but will be at Fairchild Tropical Garden, so may stop by if we have time. Doubt it, but may.

Forget the wine store Emilio. Invite Loring to your house for dinner after. Spring for some Porterhouse Steaks and see what else he's got Smile

Very nice tasting. Meeting Brian Loring was an added bonus, as was quaffing some fine Pinot Noir with Emilio. Wink
