Because I spent way to much money the last 7 years traveling I need to stay home for a while. Boring. But, I was thinking that to brighten my day, it would be nice to meet and drink with other wine-crazy people somewhere near my home in SO. Florida. Are there people at this site who live from let's say Miami to Ft. Pierce that would be willing to meet at a central location?

Let it go Andy. They're just being hard on the new guy even though they have no stones to cast.

There's a fairly nice group in So. FL. Post in the offline section next. If they don't perk up I'll send a few emails to perk them up.

A group in South Florida gets together periodically - you are likely to encounter board members at various stores and tastings etc. also.

What does it take to be "a very nice group"? Guess we don't meet the standards of the illustrious Texans. Wink

Any interest in a State offline some where around Orlando. We can travel south while others can travel north.

A state offline would obviously need to be held in Tampa. It would naturally involve two evenings with one of the nights exploring some old mature wines...and the other being a BYOB.
