Sorry I can't make it tonight, but you're in good hands with the rest of the "cru". Enjoy your stay. Smile

Indeed Al. He tried a couple - a Sleeman's Honey Brown and a Creemore Springs. Locations was key - the Duke of York was across the street from where I met him. Love the eye candy in that place. Proximity to UofT is a good thing. Smile

Yep, I'm a hoser. World class for years now. Big Grin

Good to meet you tonight Slan. Hopefully I'll get this contract and be back a couple of more times over the next few months to hang with "The Cru".

Futronic,

I got your message this afternoon, but I was stuck in meetings so unfortunately I couldn't hook up with you and WIML up at Summerhill. Hope you had a good time and enjoy your evening tonight!

No problem at all, Slan!

Everything was excellent last night. The menu broke down like this:

Duck prosciutto crostini with arugala, shaved pecorino, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil

Peppered veal tenderloin wrapped in prosciutto served on a bed of creamy gorgonzola polenta with chanterelle and black trumpet mushrooms and a veal reduction sauce

Creme brulee

Wine:

2001 Antonin Rodet Syrah
1998 Podere Poggio Scalette 'Il Carbonaione'
1999 Barone Ricasoli Casalferro
2002 Brian Loring Gary's Vineyard Pinot Noir
NV R.L. Buller Fine Muscat

It was great to sit down with Joe once again and chat, have some great (really great!) wine and great food.

Hope you had a good time in Toronto, Joe! Come back and visit us again sometime soon!
