Indeed Al. He tried a couple - a Sleeman's Honey Brown and a Creemore Springs. Locations was key - the Duke of York was across the street from where I met him. Love the eye candy in that place. Proximity to UofT is a good thing.

Everything was excellent last night. The menu broke down like this:

Duck prosciutto crostini with arugala, shaved pecorino, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil

Peppered veal tenderloin wrapped in prosciutto served on a bed of creamy gorgonzola polenta with chanterelle and black trumpet mushrooms and a veal reduction sauce

Creme brulee

It was great to sit down with Joe once again and chat, have some great (really great!) wine and great food.
