Not sure if anyone here is interested in this. But hey, if you never ask.....
I organise a tasting with some friends on friday night the 9th of October.
If anyone here on this forum is around this part of the world at that day, I would love to welcome you!
The theme is "Brunello of the years to come" On the list are at least: - Sesta di Sopra Rosso di Montalcino of '04, '05, '06 and '07 - 2 BdM from '04 (likely Sesta di Sopra as a reference point and Querce Bettina just because its drinking great right now) - The rest is depending on what others bring in.

Albert, can you also arrange to have your bank's corporate jet pick me up? If they don't have one maybe they should stop spending money on that lame bike team and buy one.
Some day we'll be able to make it to drink with you again. Especially if we are ever able to actually make our move to Europe.
Remember to always aim high, that way you won't get any on your shoes.
Forget about the corporate jet. This bank is founded by farmers. And still is governed by a membership structure instead of shareholders..... Our 'parliament' would never allow us to get into that sort of thing.
And since we are still a healthy and profitable bank, I guess we are doing something right! But, I agree with you, biking is not one of them Field hockey on the other hand....

LB, sorry to hear that your shoulder is still bothering you. I'm glad I can say I'm 99% recovered now. Perhaps I can share some of my experiences, instead of a bottle of wine?
Others, I guess it will be very much a local dutch event then
