Vacation?

July will be a tough one. However all are invited to share a bottle with a great steak seared over the campfire in Gettysburg next week.

I have to review my current schedule, but I'll probably invite people over... I've been offline deprived for a while.

Not a good month for me. Out of town pretty much every weekend.

K, you need to plan on going to a game this year in the new stadium.

Nary a (weekend) day in the month; of course there are (many) weekdays? Hope everyone is doing well.

Saturdays or Sundays are fairly clear here.

July and August are out for us, but wanted to throw out an idea for September. I have talked with the owner/chef of one of our local restaurants in Havre de Grace about an off-line event. He is willing to close the restaurant early on a Sunday afternoon for our group to come in. It's a bit of a hike north, but the food is fantastic and the staff is very fun to be around. The food is a New Orleans meets the Chesapeake Bay style and they like to have fun in the kitchen. The 6th is out for us, but the rest of the month is open.

I may be interested in the Sep offline suggestion at Havre de Grace.

Are you guys close to Havre de Grace? That isn't a bad trek from here...Double D: maybe we can meet up and carpool.... -mJ

Yes, that's a great idea!

I like the idea, hope the date(s) work.

For those who have not been, the town of Havre de Grace is on the water at the top of the bay. There are a number of antique shops and other interesting little places to explore. We have a board walk and lighthouse and a few decoys. It's an easy drive up I-95 and the downtown area is easy to get to. I have not talked to Donna yet, but I sure we could host a pre-game (and or post game) party at the house.

September 20th would be preferable from this end - Habu, maybe a separate thread is in order?
