Is anyone staying downtown and want to carpool or share a driver?
I'm sure there will be a few people staying downtown and willing to share. In fact, at the last CDP, grossie arranged a mini-bus. Any plans along those lines CWM members?
O'Hare is about a 15-minute drive to my house in Northbrook.
A booze bus is a good idea if there are enough people interested. There are numerous transport companies in Chicago that can handle such a troop movement. Here's a website that lists a bunch of them. I've also used these guys for work events.
Other transportation options from downtown include taxi (will cost roughly $50 - $60) or Metra commuter train. Our house is a 4-minute cab ride from the Northbrook train station.
If you're on the bus, just don't let Baird hold your glass for you! Canadian guys, please apply the appropriate peer pressure to get him down here.
Cheers,
Otis

While I understand the point of a cellar diminishment party, as a point of etiquette, I would feel odd by not bringing a bottle. Should I assume that everyone will be bringing wine and we will all be throwing gas on the fire?

I'll be downtown (Lincoln Park, I think) and would love to get in line for some type of ride sharing programs for others who are also down there.

Consider me a candidate for the intoxicated ride share program.

I'll be seeing Baird at the Italian offline and strongly encourage his attendance. He certainly provided great entertainment on the trip home and then for some time after. Watching him eat a Big Mac when he couldn't remember his name was priceless.

Don't forget Carriedca for breakfast entertainment.
