kudos to the Chicago Wine Mafia for setting up the Kracher tasting.
Fantastic - see you next month.
Likewise, it would be good to see the two of you as well!

Either Little Guitars or Mean Street should do the trick, however, I did say might not be able to resist. If the donation cup fills up quickly, I'll see what I can do.
I can see it now, lots of head shaking and air strumming, hand gesturing, somewhere between the Riesling table and the Kracher, on the way to a CNdP. Don't even pretend like you aren't practicing at home right now as I type this. I have an informant...

After careful negotiation with Mrs. O (meaning that she was in a good mood), she has authorized the opening of the party to guests on the waiting ist as of this post, raising the forumite limit to 96 people. Waiting list resumes after that number. VM: I'm sorry. But after Grossie's stage dive off my couch into a bevy of screaming imaginary fans at the last party, Allstate made me waive any coverage of air guitar property damage or injuries. Curiously, Air Saxophone is allowed. However, Kenny G is banned from my stereo as a matter of priniciple. GUEST LIST (96)Grossie (2) Vino Me (2) french16 (2) AllRed (2) Blue Oval (2) Scubarex (2) Maverick (chef) Stefania Wine (2) newsguy (2) KSC02 (4) thelostverse (2) R2D2 (2) Anwar Atalla (2) radams (2) jcocktosten (2) wine + art (2) steve8 (2) eyesintime (2) IW (2) Powell Yang (2) klymkev (3) bman (2) jburman82 (2) DoktaP (1) futronic (1) tanglenet (2) Berno (1) Longboarder (1) MJAlbers (2) BirDungy (1) Tbird (2) indybob (2) Rhone Warrior (2) gigabit (1) redknife (2) thirsty man (1) Ampuis (1) Emilio (2) Roentgen Ray (2) Redline325 (2) Pinotlvr (2) Scott McDonald (1) Vino Me friends (2) Primordealsoup (2) Napacat (2) Lars Makie (2) dannyk8232 (1) Dr. Tannin (1) Curt (2) markjahnke (2) tbird friends (2) drab (1) bman friends (2) ktf (2) Latest song added to the playlist: Who's Got the Crack? by the Moldy Peaches. Cheers, Otis This party will surely go down in history as one of epic proportions. And you, Mr. & Mrs. O, are clearly gluttens for punishment. But oh so very very cool.

This CDP is now officially larger than my Bar Mitzvah! I hope Uncle Irving doesn't complain where he's sitting and that the music's too loud. But I digress.
Very cool of you and Mrs. O. Clearly, this has become a "can't miss" event. I think James Suckling should make a cameo.
Thanks again for your kindness, generosity, and good humor. Can TBird actually play air saxophone?

Otis, you need to teach me your negotiating skills! This will be one for the books.

In the past I've brought 2 cases of 50 each (100 total) for late night munchies. Never ran out before. Most of the out of towners have been too afraid to try them.
I think you are going to have to scrap the short bus and get something bigger grossie.

Let's see: If I introduce myself and talk to everyone for no more than 1 minute, I will be there 1 1/2 hours. I think I will bring name tags for the 2 of us. By the way, my wife is very excited about this... thank you Otis for making my wife happy. It's something I fail to do on an on-going basis

Tanglent: If this is anything like the last CDP, and it already appears bigger and better, you won't even know your own name by the end, let alone read someones name tag!

The problem with the name tags is that jcocktosten likes to collect them all. Photo from 2007 cdp. VM
