Glad to see you can make it moutainman. It has been a strange Spring, it's like the Wasatch Front has been teleported to Portland, OR. Rain and clouds dominate the skies.

Do we want to stick with a 2004 California Cab theme? I can bring a Cab with more age, a different varietal (for contrast), or sacrifice one of my youngsters.

Excellent. I have been wondering if I should bring a "change of pace" red. Perhaps an older Syrah/Shiraz? I like the idea of some contrast with the California cabernets.

The Clos Apalta is mostly Carmenere, but also has Cabernet in is and drinks like a Cab. My vote is for the Hartwell. I am thinking about a second cab as my additional bottle. More on this later.

Finally back in the internet world. I'll also bring along a 2006 DuMOL Isobel chardonnay and a 2004 Kosta Browne 4-Barrel pinot. You never know which one will be needed! Besides I'm taking a cab back to SLC.
Oh and gigabit's 2 2006 Beringer PR chards. I'll be the one one person by himself holding a very big bag of wine!

I am planning on cab-ing it too, we should ride together. Are you staying downtown?

I'll be staying at the wonderful KOA campground downtown wherever that is. Wife will probably drop me off at restaurant. Let me know if you are around there.

I have arranged for transportation from the restaurant, to my house, and then on to the KOA. It will cost you $15 at most. I am assuming you are staying at KOA on 1400 W North Temple. If that is not the case, then my plan doesn't work.
