Well, it's never too early to start planning another gathering. We are thinking that a Saturday in June would be a great time to meet at Tiburon.
As for a theme, I think medium- to full-bodied reds, of any varietal, sounds perfect. Of course, I will still bring a white, or two, to enjoy with their scallops.

Nice to see the Utah crowd getting active. MLV and I have talked about a possible short trip to Utah over the summer. If it becomes a reality, we will try to connect with y'all.

That would be very cool. I would definitely have to "step my game up" if you guys make it.

As far as the time is concerned, let's tentatively plan for 7:30. I will make the reservation.
I ran into ktf yesterday (you'll never guess where ) and he would like to join us.
Regarding wines, yes, I think that a "big" red would be nice. I have several that I am considering. I was also planning on bringing a white to share, so if you would like to bring another white, rosé, or champagne that would be great.
I will also bring a couple of decanters to give our reds some air time.

Have fun all - sorry we can't make it. Hopefully we will see some of you at the CDP and if not sooner (maybe we will work a late summer/fall trip in), next ski season.

My wife informs me that we will not be town that weekend. We will be in Washington. I had the dates mixed up so sorry I will not be able to join you. Hopefully next time or maybe a summer party at my home in late July or August. KTF

Originally posted by Roentgen Ray: gigabit, are we still going down the road of full sized reds? I am considering a bottle of 2004 Larkmead Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Solari.
Would you like another 2004, or earlier vintage, Cali cab for comparison?
