Next weekend March 31---0n.....Pelochain will be visiting Sonoran soil. I know that I will not be able to reciprocate on the same level, but I will sure give it a big try!

Anyone in the vecinity of Hermosillo, Sonora on this weekend, should sound off, you will be welcomend with open arms Roll Eyes

Señor Pelochain, do we have a theme?

Salud!

Don Gusbo,
It will be great to visit the state that used to be ours ! Wink (for those not from this area, you need to know that at one time there was a lot of rivalry between these two neighboring Mexican states).

As for theme, 1980s Bordeaux!

OK. I am back.

I agree with your 1980s Bordeaux theme. I "think" that I have the following wines (I'll confirm tomorrow):

1982 Cos d'Estournel
1982 Grand Puy Lacoste
1982 Gruaud Larose
1982 Leoville Poyferre
1982 l'Arrose

I may have other stuff (but I am not certain all the wines have arrived yet).

It only seems appropriate to have Bordeaux with your world famous laaaaaaaaaamb cooking!

It's starting to look good!

I only agreed to come up to Hermosillo because I've heard of the wild hordes of Yaqui Indians that still terrorize law abiding citizens in and around Caborca.

It's odd that they now ride Hummers instead of horses and use AK 47s instead of arrows, though... Roll Eyes

Hey, hey!!! it is 24kt gold plated AK-47's......
not just AK-47's.

I guess that since you come from Sinaloa, you've never seen one. Oh! and by the way the Hummers are armored, bulletproof, whatever you want to call them.

OK.....you are bringing the Cos and maybe the Leoville for sentimental reasons (don't cry, she liked you Wink Big Grin )

I'm asking myself, what goes well with lamdb?
uummm!!.......let me think, I'll let you know.

Got it!

Lamb goes well with:

-'86 Pichon Baron......and.....
-'88 Haut Brion

I'm trying to get some Foie Gras, but it seems you ate every single gram available! Wink
Hope I'm able to get my hands on some in Phoenix
tomorrow, not easy though.....

Salud!

Gusbo,
I am back in Mexico. I have the following 1982s in my posession: Cos d'Estournel, Canon & Leoville Poyferre!!! (I just realized none is a Pauillac! which is the so called best match with laaaaaaaamb).

The 1986 Pichon Baron & 1988 Haut Brion sound great!

This is starting to sound very delicious.

PS If her hands wouldn't have had the texture of Culiacan's meteorite, it could have been possible.

Just to be fair, I must admit that my "peaceful" hometown of Culiacan may explain my affection for the LEAD pencil aroma in Bordeaux!
