For those of you who missed offline #2, you can read about it and weep under the eponymous thread heading. The menu and the wines are discussed, and all for $55 (plus tax and tip).
As for Md offline #3, the holidays are nigh upon us. My wife and I will be in Hawaii from 11/5-11/28 and many of us have family obligations of one kind or another for T-giving or X-mas. So the question is: Should we try to find a night not conflicting with the holidays, or defer our next enjoyable rendez-vous until 2006? I had previously indicated 12/11 as a possibility, which is no longer good for me, although these things don't revolve around me. What are the thoughts of the good people of Central Maryland?

I'm interested, and pretty flexible. Obviously not available on or really near the "big" holidays, but don't want to wait until next year to see the gang again. What about the rest of you? And the missing in action Lentini, TJ, dinwiddie etc!! TJ, can you pull the Montgomery County hookup?

just got a call from Mark at Rooster Cafe. He's still interested. Sure would like to hear from Comet Spider and Gentleman Farmer, Dinwiddie, TJ and the others.

Hey Gentleman farmer! What was the Don Melchor going for, if you don't mind my asking?
The 11th turns out to be a bad day for the esteemed irwin. irwin, do you have alternate dates in mind? We'd hate to have you miss one. You are an original MD offline member! Would hate to see your streak come to an end!

Funny you should ask, as I was just thinking about this. I know Festiva and I had talked about perhaps sharing a shipment. My budget for the short term is somewhat hampered by a recent development, but I'd be interested in going in on a mixed batch of 2002's and 2003's. I have DC and VA addresses for shipping. Festiva and GF, are you interested in splitting up a case of 2002's and 2003's (4 from each vintage each?) In any event, e-mail me at purplehaze1956 at yahoo dot com and we can kick it around. I'm sure BH will work with us on a mixed shipment of any size. At least I hope he will!!

I'm up for splitting a case. I'll shoot you an email. We can either use your enabler in DC or mine. Or, we could just invite BHVineyard to make a special trip down on the 17th!
Dec. 17th works for me. Count Mrs. Festiva in, too. She still won't forgive me for enjoying myself without her at the last OL.

Gentleman Farmer: Someone bought a ticket to the megamillions at Maryland Line Liquors and won $250,000. Are you treating us at the next offline? Seriously, I am not sure I can do the December offline, though I will try to make it. I'll be in touch with PH directly, and pass the Rooster cafe info on to him. Whatever you guys want, and I will sincerely try to attend.

looks like it will be 12/18. I guess 6 PM. at the rooster cafe. I am leaving tomorrow for vacation in Hawaii for 2 weeks. PH can put the finishing touches on this offline. Festiva? Comet Spider? You in? Ms. F? Ms. C-S?
Aloha
