Still not sure what to bring for vino.... I have some older Reislings, but we are always heavy on that varietal... Some aged Napa Cabs too... I guess we have time to make that decision before Sunday.. It should be a good time. It has been too long..

Cheers. Smile

Let's do a red! I've also developed a disgusting appetite for cabs during the summer, that's pretty much 80% of all I drink (20% for riesling/champagne/syrah). I lurve it.

And you're right it has been far to long. Except for Kevin and Sean I saw those silly guys last month.

I'm not even sure it is still summer! I love reds year round myself and will probably bring a Heretic Petite-Sirah. I get in to SD late today and my husband plans to drag me out furniture shopping as soon as I land. I am trying to remember what I have on hand there in case I don't have time to shop! Oh yes, I will likely bring asparagus to throw on the grill to share..........

I will drink no wine til it's in my glass!

I don't know what to bring for food. I don't like cooking that much. I will give the Italian cured meats a rest, I know I will bring oysters, just kidding, that would be a pain in the but. Maybe Carne Asada.

I wanted to remind everyone that it can get pretty cold after the sun goes down, so bring some warm clothes too.

Who do you have to probe around here to get a chardonnay?

Good wine, tasty food, great people and a beautiful setting. We couldn't have asked for a better night. Thanks to the Tremblays for hosting. Jen and I hope to see everyone soon.

"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink I feel shame. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes and dreams . If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this wine and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."
