We have some options this year as to when you all would like to do this, so I need your input. We are free on the following dates: Sept. 6th/7th, Sept.21st, Oct. 11th/12th.

Who do you have to probe around here to get a chardonnay?

I think any of those dates would be workable for us. September 6 might be the best option from a weather standpoint (evening not getting too cool).

I agree with Kevin, September is a far better choice if we're going to be outside drinking wine at night.

I vote for the sooner the better

Sept. seems busy for everyone, how about Oct. 12th? It'll be cooler, so we'll just have to drink more wine. Smile

Sunday is tougher for me. I can say I am interested but offer no better than a flaky non-committal commitment. What was the start time going to be? Considering temp could be cool, maybe earlier is better, just a thought. Also, I guess I would prefer an early start that day for the next morning.

Oct. 12th, 5 p.m., although you may arrive at anytime if you want to hang out on the beach or swim in the pool, and $10 per adult. Bring food to grill for yourself, and either an appetizer/salad or desert to share with everyone, and of course wine. Table, grill and chairs are provided for us. You may bring your own stems if you wish, we will bring stemware but we don't have a large variety of glasses. Send your names to my email as confirmation so I can leave them at the front gate. On Edit: you might like to know where to go:

2000 Spindrift Dr, La Jolla, CA 92037

Kid friendly, or no?

If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this wine and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."

True, but I didn't want assume that kids would be welcome by all. I am looking at the date and seeing if I can make it work. Sounds like a good time.
