also i know absolutely NOTHING about Cote de Nuits.
g-man, you might seek the wines of Morey-Saint-Denis.
While is does not have the reputation of Gevrey Chambertin to the north, or Chambolle Musigny to the south, it does offers solid wines for better pricing if you are wanting to learn Burgundy.

Any recommended vintages look for?
And would you be able to give tasting profiles one should look out for based on the particular price?

I have had good luck with 1999, 2002, and 2003. Avoid 1998. I haven't tasted any 2004s. However, the thread specifically states 1999 for the tasting. Wish I were on the list, NYC and 1999 Red Burgs, sounds like a good time.

Hi , I'm kind of a newbie here, I read your threads and this event sounds real nice I noticed that the add is from April, are you arranging events like this often? is there another one coming soon?
