We've been talking about taking a trip out there soon. It's been a while since our last trip and we'd like to see if they've finally made any progress. Anybody interested?

I'm messing around. I thought you were looking to do a "LI Wine" tasting.

I am. I want to try the Long Island wines again, but some of the restaurants in the area allow BYO. If we go to one of them, I'm bringing something with me, and whatever it is will have been made thousands of miles away.

Throw out some dates. A Friday would be nice (non weekend). Let's get the "full treatment" and avoid the weekend Amateur Hour.

A Friday is fine with me. I can probably make any Friday up until and including June 10. After that, I'll probably have to wait til August.

Terra and I may be interested in re-visiting the LI wineries. However, I'm so swamped at work that I can't take any time off until our submittal on June 30. So, according to Board-O's schedule, I'd have to push off your plans until August.

It's up to you two.

It'd be nice if you could make it. I can go any Friday through June 17th now. My wife's surgery has been put off another week. After that, it might be well into August til I can get away, depending on her recuperation.

Board-O, let's see who else chimes in for June.

Matt - either way, I'd hang with you out here in August.

We are also way overdue for a city outing before then though. NYC June/July. Maybe time to think about it.

There's a lot of wineries out there. We could do it twice, though my definition of stupidity is repeating one's mistakes.

OK, well June is out for me... so I'll have to wait until August.

It looks like Hunter can do August, and hopefully Board-O will "repeat his mistakes" and join us in August also.

I can probably do both. Anything to meet the esteemed mwagner from my childhood area.

I'm looking forward to it (maybe not the wine part ).
