Would like to arrange a small offline, 8 or under (good for bottle consumption imho)
I can either host on Nassau/Suffolk border at house (everyone could bring a dish and wine pairing) or I could bar-be-cue or it can be catered.
I thought bringing food and wine togehter would be interesting at the least. just would want to avoid duplicate dishes.
Was wondering if there would be takers and a preference of the three formats mentioned above.

It's a possibility for us, dave. We've hosted a few small offlines and the small number makes for a fun evening.

Just one more sip.

I wouldn't mind if you guys would have me and the lady.

If you were to cater, I wouldn't mind chipping in either.

If you were bbq, can buy a whole tenderloin and chop it up on site.

Dave-
Keep us posted. I may be able to make it as long as it is not one of my work nights.

Cheers!

When I was in Aruba last week, met Jobske who works/lives in Island and posts here. HE is making trip to east coast (NY) and I wanted to try to get something going around his arrival. Once i get his info I will start to plan something, might be in place that will waive corkage fee to make it a little easier on planning, preparation, etc.
Will have more info within the week hopefully.
