Yes, my wife and I are going to the whole shebang. I know that orlando is also attending. R2D2, grossie, and Scubarex are hitting the Grand Tastings.

Cheers,

Otis

I will be attending the entire event. Mr rhb will join me for the final dinner. I am hoping to meet up with some of my BB friends on Thursday and Friday night.

VM, my other son is at Lake Forest College, so it seems that I am in Chicago every month. I would love to get together again some time. I will let you know our future dates. NU is having a great year!

rhb:

How about we meet at the Joseph Phelps booth at 8:00 PM on Thursday 11/4 and introduce ourselves?

cluricaun:

Giddyup! This event blows away VinExpo. You and your lovely wife would have a blast. More details can be found here. Shoot me an email if you want to discuss in more detail. It would be great to hoist a few with you again. Cool

pyang:

Will do! Smile

Cheers,

Otis

I'm going to the Grand Tastings Thursday and Friday. Friday I'll be with a friend, Thursday alone.

Anyone interested in a basic somewhat light dinner Thursday before the 7:30 event?

I have reservations at Tru Restaurant on Friday, November 5th at 6:30 for 4 people. I am only going to the tasting on Thursday. If anyone wants my reservations, post your email.

They are sold out for that evening.

I will be dining at the Ritz Carlton. Tru will not waive the max of 2 bottles at $50.00 per. I only wanted to bring a total of 3. The Sommelier says he is getting a lot of calls about waiving the limit that weekend and he is holding firm.

Ritz is only $25.00 per and no limit.

Hi Nancy,

Like rhb537, my wife and I will be heading into the tasting at 6:30 on both nights. They usually have a decent food table of appetizers at the event, so we'll probably skip dinner. See you there.

ALotaFagina: I hope to see you around during the tastings. Have a great meal at the Ritz!

Cheers,

Otis

Otis,
Do you have a table put together for Saturday night? If not, do you and your wife want to sit with us? It may be too late, but we can try.

rhb,

My wife and I (and 2 friends) are sitting at orlando's table. We arranged it a few weeks ago in this thread.

I think there are 10 seats to a table, so we'd love to have you join us. Please email me at m.boersma@comcast.net if WS needs our names too.

Cheers,

Otis

I am going to all events. Will be with Otis at the Saturday table. The other couple with us cancelled so with us, Otis an the other couple should be 6. There is still space.
Will try to be at Phepls at 8 but probably will forget after starting to drink at 6:30.

We'll definitely stop by the Del Dotto booth and say hello. Any wines under the table this year we should ask about? Wink Big Grin

One of you or all of you please go by Buehler and ask for Page, ask him if he would like to play a round of Texas Hold'em for some wine. Big Grin

otis,

He doesn't really drink that much wine, if you slip him a bottle of beer, I think he would be very happy. Wink
