I believe Powell Yang will be able to join us on the 9th (possibly +1 or 2). Count me in (likely +1) either way. Buon Appetito has been suggested as a good location, although I haven't checked on their corkage yet.

Powell is a long-time poster here and co-creator of The Wino Depot, another wine board on which many of us also paticipate.

In my opinion, BA is not a good Italian restaurant. We just had a party of 7 go two months ago and I was pretty disappointed =(

The 9th might work for me. I'm longing to see you guys again, so tomorrow I will try and resched. any appt's I have on the 10th

BA did a holiday work party for 15 for us and they did a great job, but maybe I was too influenced. My boss knows one of the owners, that was a nice touch. Their server/wine buyer was interested in joining our offline tastings.

I am open to anything you guys have in mind.. anyone else have a suggestion? I think there are lots of choices down there.

Maybe when LP comes into town I can drag SPO up to LA for a road trip to KL for a pick up of our club offerings, do their Sat. tasting and then do an LA wine dinner...
