I'd normally love to drive over and join in but out of town. In the future would like to pop over for one, every know and then we come over just to go to BERNS!

Bern's has the best wine list I have ever seen. However I find myself just looking at that novel rather than actually eating.

Actually I think it has one of the best inthe world, at least they claim that. I think its the largest collection in North America, I know at one time it was. The "book" is ridiculous but its a lot of fun, every now and then you can find a few gems for a reasonable price..

Be sure to ask the sommelier for a tour of the cellar. It's kept at 50 degrees.

Just one more sip.

Possibly in April, but it's not real likely.

Any chance you'll make it to our side?

Newsguy,

I think 1 bottle would suffice - I'm a party of 2 and thus will bring two, but I think Kevin W is bringing a 1/2 bottle of Sauternes for his second and I'd hope Josh would do the same - would be alot of sweet if not.

Catch23 location in Westchase is the one we were shooting for.

Josh, have you emailed him?

Actually, I only have the 89 Rieussec in 750's but it is pretty good so should not be a problem finishing it. I will also bring a red. Looking forward to it.

Kev,
'89...that generous of you..thought you'd be sacrificing a 1/2 of a 2001!

Board-O would scold you..but its not too painfull.

FWIW...I own -0- Sauternes which is why I consider 'mboy Woods a generous dude.

I also know that this wine was released pretty close to me meeting this SOB!!! Big Grin
