never been to commerce to play, but in SD its usually 1-3/2-4nl. BUT majority of the time its tournaments. But recently i'm trying something called "bankroll management" haha.

I'm going to see how much money i can make starting with only $300. So online i've been playing only .10/.25 25NL, slowing grinding my way up!

I'm going to try to apply that to the casino's but.. its going to be alot harder so i'll probably just play 1-2nl with 100cap. I don't know if they have them at commerce, my friend said its stupid 40nl games or something. But I just want to see how capable i am of grinding out money.

I don't make it to card rooms much these days, mostly just on-line and private games. I like to play $6/$12 limit and NL tournaments.

Still trying to qualify for WSOP Main Event. Got a group in Napa that's been sending at least one person for the last four years.

Did you catch Furguson's entry on fulltilt? Went from $0 to $10,000 in about a year.

that's what got me into trying this. I hate playing 25NL cause you get a whole bunch of bad beats and at times the money just doesn't seem that much to me when i call so i made a few bad calls too. it's definitely taking some getting used to.

Mmmmm.... Poker.

I usually play 9/18 Kill limit or NL tournaments.

I have a 50/50 cab/sangio super Tuscan blend that would be right at home at Buon Appetito. Corkage is $10, menu is reasonable, $20 and under a plate, plus I don't know how much longer I can last without an antipasto plate.

Don’t let my Buon Appetito fetish be a turn off. I am open to other possibilities. A lot of Gaslamp Spots are $15. North Park/Hillcrest seems cheaper friendlier.

Better Half Bistro corkage is $5

Cafe Sevilla corkage $15

Hash House $10

Apertivo $5

Chive or Kensington Grill were $15

Ritual Tavern $10 but maybe not an appealing place.

Isn't there that place in La Jolla that is in the Brigantine family of restaurants about $15

Athens Market $12-$15 plus I can get Greek coffee for desert Cool

Blue Point $15

Chopahn $15

Bandar $15

Chianti $15

Rei Do Gado $15

Whine-oh, any places here worth asking.

La Jolla or North County people, if you have a spot, say something.

Le Bastide is good and $15.

I think Azul is $15, Nine-Ten would be nice also but I don't know their corkage off the top of my head.

Who do you have to probe around here to get a chardonnay?

I can't make it. I have to meet with a client tomorrow in LA and then try and race down there (like last time - I was an absolute mess). Have fun. No drunken scenes (unless there's an HD videocamera)

Almost forgot - on a sidenote, would anybody be interested in catching a weekend game at Petco and then heading to dinner? Or vice versa? I would REALLY like to do that...
