Thanks to the arrangement by Tony Biagi, this will be the first monthly dinner outside of the Napa Vallay AVA.

July's dinner will be held on Sunday the 11th at Plumpjack Cafe, with the tentative start time of 5:30pm. As usual, the cost will be split down the middle among all in attendance.

No wine theme, just bring whatever you would like to share with everyone. Probably try to avoid bring whites or bubblies, as we will be purchasing a few off the restaurant's wine list, which is priced at regular retail.

I will find out the maximum guests allowed at this dinner next week, I doubt 15 - 20 would be an issue, first come first serve. Smile

Dear Lafon,

Quit asking questions and just show up. Tony is taking care of this one, I am sure he'll be able to come up with something reasonable.

Webmarin,

Got you down for one. Smile

ALotaFagina,

I am not sure if Lafon is taking the last two seats, if not, you are more than welcome to join us. I can also keep you on the waiting list to see if a single spot opens up, as most of the time we do get a few cancellations.

Let me know how that sounds.

Given the size of this group, I'll definetly bring a magnum of something. . .Any thoughts?

I don't mean to raise anyone's hopes, but I heard Kurt may bring a double magnum of Cold Duck he scored at Walgreen's. . . Razz Only DRAB knows for sure. . . Big Grin

Grape Ape,

How 'bout those new bubblies in a can, bring those... Wink

Since we are buying whites and bubblies at the restaurant, anything red would work fine. I am thinking of bringing a small vertical of something...

I'd love to come since it's my birthday and I will be in California, but Emma and I have reservations at La Toque. I hope you guys have a great time. How is La Toque about bringing your own wine?

Brettay,

No problem at all, $18 corkage per bottle, but it's well worth the money as the wine service is superb.
