You don't answer email very well! Of course there is room for you and J. I've updated the list above, including Baird and other people too.
He barely reads his emails, either.

Event: 5th Annual Italian Offline - Domestic Edition
Date: June 6, 2009
Location: Downtown Toronto, Canada
Time: Arrival 7:00pm SHARP please! I'd like to get the orders into the kitchen no later than 7:30pm as we have a very large group and they will be slammed. If necessary, I can always have people make their selections in advance and book everyone's dinner in advance.
I'm combing the sites for Hotels. Any suggestions?
There seems to be decent deals around. For example: Hilton Toronto Le Meridien King Edward InterContinental Toronto Yorkville
Any recommendations from the locals regarding anything in particular? I know I stayed at the King Edward several years ago and it was very nice. Just looking for feedback if anyone has any.
All of those would be just fine. With respect to proximity to venue, the King Eddie is closest (you could walk), followed by the Hilton and Intercontinental Yorkville.

Un petit cadeux pour la remercier à ton retour sera un pas dans la bonne direction, Impulse.

Well then, the King Eddie it is. Confirmed the reservation. We're good to go. Thanks, Fut.
Ok, I'm cutting this off except for those on the tentative list. We're already pretty massive in size. I've added everyone else that's chimed in above this post.

FWIW -- Priceline will get a decent rate on downtown Toronto hotels for all of you out of towners. The drawback is that you won't know what the hotel is until after you've made an offer and it's been accepted. biddingfortravel.com will give lots of details/tips.
