I live in Hot Springs and might be interested if a group starts forming. Right now I am in San Diego and some of my best friends here I met through offlines.

I'm up here in Northwest Arkansas. Julie D and I have talked about something here in Arkansas before. Post back if you can get enough together. Again, I am limited to the weekend because of the drive.

Have any of you been to Crush Wine Bar in LR? Is there any interest to try to schedule a get together in Oct?

I have never been to Crush, but would love to go. I find it interesting that Bacogeek, who started this thread, has not said anything after the original post. I have limited time available in October, my only free weekend is the weekend of Oct 24,25.

I've never been to Crush as well. Do they have a website that I look up?

Do we have enough people and is there a theme?

here is the link to the wine bar. Today one of my friends told me about a wine bar that just opened in Fayetteville.

Oct 24, 25 are busy for me. If we met in Fayetteville, I could meet during the week this monthn(with some exceptions). I have no clue what the venue is like and will try to get some more details.

I could meet in Fayetteville mid-week. My son goes to college there.

Fayetteville works even better for me and I can make it during the week except for Wednesdays until after 8:30, which is probably too late for the group.

But any other day will work. I am excited about this.

When I googled wine bars in Fayetteville, the Wine loft popped up. It is a chain in some major cities but the Fayetteville page is still being developed. I e-mailed the contact so hopefully we will hear back soon. This will be so much fun! I am open for next Thu evening if we think it is a go.

also, i will post a new thread and change location to Fayetteville so it will hit the most recent posts. City change might be more appealing for other members, as well.

I can not make this Thursday, I have a wine dinner in Hot Springs already. But you should definitely proceed with this and hopefully you can get some more interest. Hopefully you will do this again and I will be able to attend!

Julie D, Just to keep you posted. Bijou and I are trying to organize a tasting this Thursday. I have spread the word my office and several people are interested. Bijou has done the same. I think we can get a good group this Thursday, still determining where to have it. I have some Chef friends that might help me out in a good locaton.

I sure hope it comes together. I will be in San Diego til the 22nd so this Thursday still won't work for me, but hopefully it will work for lots of others! I went to an offline here last night on the beach, lots of fun!
